Leading symptoms of each remedy in point form, followed by a friendly narrative including comparisons to other remedies and drawing heavily on the author's own experience. He discourages the quarrel over symptomatology and pathology, ruling out neither, and he insists that the question of dose is still an open one. A popular classic. (See also ROY, #693).
A delightful volume which is very readable and filled with personal experiences and tit-bits from a grand prescriber. The book is filled with useful hints and insights. Said one reviewer "I will guarantee that no physician can read [this book] and not be a better physician."
Nash cover over 200 remedies in the order he thinks of them ("to follow the bent of my inclinations, or it is sometimes expressed, the moving of the spirit"), not in a alphabetical sequence. This book give some interesting insights into the thought process of one of the great old homoeopaths.
